Abstract

High resolution remote sensing of earth atmosphere plays a critical role in realizing numerical weather forecast and monitoring environmental changes. This article describes the importance of spaceborne Fourier transform spectrometric technology in implementing the high precision measurement, its development and present status. The requirement for spectral band and resolution is proposed from the application’s point of view, the overview of typical instrument is discussed, and the key techniques...
