Abstract  

This paper introduces a method to quantitatively estimate the land surface tempe rature(LST)using Landsat TM6 data in the arid region.The research results indica te that brightness temperature(T B)is lower than the real temperature(T R)with a value of 0.4~1K,and the real temperature(T R)estimated through TM6 data,whi ch obtained in March 26,1987,corresponds to the temperature data measured by loc al meteorological station very well.The error is below 0.8K.Meanwhile the land s urface temperature ...
