    The paper discusses quantitatively effects of terrain relief and geographic location of pixels on direct solar radiation and change of remotely sensed value caused by such effects. Then,formulas for computation of direct solor radiation on pixels and correction of direct radiation component of remotely sensed data are established.

    A discussion of the use of multivariate regrassion analysis for spectrum and chemical component of rocks.The rock samples are collected from many places in China.There are 14 classes of rock samples and 13 sorts of chemical component.The spectrum wavelength range is from 0.4 to 2.4μm.We have get a regression equation for each class or several classes of rocks,and a discussion is given.

    The images of remote sensing provide us more detailed and precise information than the general geological investigation.But a dear methology of how to best use lineaments information in the gold-ore exploration programme is lacking. In this paper the quantitative analyses of the significant lineaments is presented by util izing the synthetic processing method of the lineaments derived from the satellite data and soil-chemical anomalous data.Furthermore,the minerogenetic role of the ring structures is analysed based on the relationship of the remotely sensed ring structures and geochemical da ta.This study show a spatial association with goldore.The results of study coincide with the field investigation.

    Using remote sensing and geographic information system(GIS)techniques,this pa- per discusses the prediction of pillars of karst collapse in Fenghuangshan Mine,Jincheng mining area.The remote sensing characteristics of pillars of karst collapses are studied.The images about circular and linear structures and thermal abnormal regions are extracted. Meanwhile,geological and mining data are used for drawing the distribution laws of pillars of karst collapses.On the basis of these,ARC/INFO GIS was utilized to carry out multi-elements composite analysis,and the possible distribution regions of the pillars were determined.Then,the locations and shapes of pillars were verified by geophysical pros- pecting.The results show that the comprehensive surveying techniques and methodologies are effective and economic.

    Through a lot of survey data determined best method of observation crop canopy tem- perature different using infrared thermometer,and then proceed to use relationship between the canopy temperature different and the soil moisture to determine arid index of winter wheat crucial during.It provided basis for soil water monitor using remote sensing technology on a large area.

    Five factors,such as terrain,the type of land used,soil type,the ratio of rice area to land area and social output of person are selected,to evaluate synthetically the yield level of rice in Shanghai.In order to reflect scientifically its effect degree to total rice yield,we adopted the method of stratification analysis to determine the weight coefficient of every fac- tor.And last,we use the GIS tools to conduct synthetical stratification of the rice yield esti- mation.

    This paper introduces the designing of SCSI interface controller,and used it to successfully operate the RS-9200E magneto-optical drive manufactured by Japanese RICOH company and the CTS-8210 digital tape recorder manufactured by American TTI company.Then designed the streaming data buffer and developed lots of software to connect the magneto-optical drive and digital tape recorder with the personal computer,made the magneto-optical drive and digital tape recorder become the outside storing equipments of the personal computer system,so set up an inputting,Storing,Retrieval and displaying system of the remote sensing image data.
